Per Diem Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Jacksonville, Georgia

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Staff Pharmacist supporting a managed retail pharmacy located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah, GA, and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL. This per diem role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong technician support, focusing on community pharmacy operations and patient-centered services.

Scheduled Dates of Coverage:

• Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide medication counseling and support to patients in a retail setting
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system for accurate dispensing and inventory management
• Ensure adherence to 340B program guidelines, if applicable

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Georgia pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in retail or community pharmacy practice
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise pharmacy technicians
• Familiarity with opening and closing pharmacy procedures
• Prior experience with 340B program highly preferred, but not mandatory
