School Physical Therapist | Cheraw, South Carolina

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract role serving multiple school locations, supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade for the full 2026-2027 academic year. This assignment provides the opportunity to work onsite only, collaborating with educational teams to help students reach their full physical potential and improve their educational experiences.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active South Carolina PT license
• Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to various school settings and support diverse student needs
• Dedicated to providing in-person therapy services only (onsite; not virtual)
• Reliable and organized, with a professional approach to working across multiple school locations

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
• Develop, implement, and monitor student therapy plans in coordination with teachers and other related service providers
• Provide progress updates and maintain thorough documentation
• Adapt therapeutic interventions to meet the evolving needs of students across various grade levels
• Serve as a valuable resource within the school community

This contract spans a standard school schedule (37.5 hours each week), from July 29, 2026, through May 27, 2027. As part of the application process, please submit a blinded resume. Interview times are currently being accepted and will be scheduled within the present timeframe.
