The Staff Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager -- Key Responsibilities: Support the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations with resolution of variances. Support inventory and work-in-process (WIP) tracking and reconciliations Payroll processing and related reporting Partner with project managers to support project setup and basic financial tracking Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting activities Participate in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements and support ad hoc projects as needed. Additional exposure to AP/AR Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid-size organization Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP Payroll processing experience Strong Excel skills, including use of formulas and pivot tables Exposure to an ERP system preferred Manufacturing accounting exposure is a plus but not required Desired Skills & Characteristics: Demonstrates proactive initiative and a willingness to take ownership of tasks while seeking opportunities to support additional projects and responsibilities. Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Be comfortable asking questions, learning new systems, and participating in a collaborative team projects. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Desire to grow professionally

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
