Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license; eligibility for Texas state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow (CFY) applicants will also be considered
- Experience in a pediatric or school-based SLP setting is highly desirable
- Skilled in assessments, IEP development, and providing both individual and group therapy
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based best practices and professional ethics
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and execute effective treatment plans
- Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding language and communication needs
- Promote students’ access to curriculum through targeted therapy and support
