Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A fantastic opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support the growth and success of elementary students in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time contract role offers you the chance to work closely with a welcoming, collaborative team, all within a single elementary school location—eliminating the need to travel between sites.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid Illinois SLP licensure and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Prior experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop engaging, individualized therapy plans
  • A passion for contributing to positive outcomes for young learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment and intervention services to elementary students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and staff
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, family members, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive, encouraging school culture
  • Adapt interventions and support strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
