Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding opportunity to provide impactful occupational therapy services within a welcoming and collaborative school environment. This full-time, onsite contract role will engage you in supporting resource and self-contained elementary programs, as well as high school students, from August 3, 2026, through October 27, 2026. Begin your journey with a thorough orientation (August 3–4) so you feel confident as the school year starts.
What you bring:
- Valid OT licensure and credentials suitable for school-based settings
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary and high school students
- Familiarity with providing therapy in both resource and self-contained classrooms
- Commitment to collaboration, growth, and embracing best practices in occupational therapy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
What you’ll do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services directly to elementary and high school students onsite
- Use school-supplied equipment and testing materials to evaluate and implement therapy plans
- Work closely with experienced OT supervisors and access immediate support when needed
- Collaborate with fellow professionals during monthly meetings and roundtable discussions
- Participate in process improvement and share ideas to optimize student outcomes
- Stay current and continue your professional growth through access to development courses specific to school-based OT practice
- Provide input during annual performance reviews and receive structured feedback to support your growth
