Warehouse Associate

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team in Austin, TX. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. The primary responsibilities include picking orders using an RF scanner, supporting shipping and receiving operations, stocking inventory, and operating forklifts safely and efficiently. Qualified candidates must have previous warehouse experience, RF scanner experience, and forklift operating experience. Electrical distribution experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

• Days: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must be willing to stay until all work is completed
• Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and fulfill customer orders using an RF scanner
• Transport picked orders to the shipping area for verification
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations
• Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, stocking, or order selecting experience required
• RF scanner experience required
• Forklift experience required
• Experience in electrical distribution preferred but not required
• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Dress Code & PPE

• T-shirts, shorts, or pants are acceptable
• No offensive graphics or loose-fitting clothing
• Steel-toe boots are required
