Job Description

Title: Point of Care Lab Technician

Location: San Leandro, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits

Important: This is a mobile laboratory role. Candidates must pick up and return the company vehicle at the designated location each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform waived laboratory testing including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation testing
• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary collection
• Receive, process, and prepare specimens for testing
• Enter patient demographics, test orders, and results into the laboratory information system
• Monitor quality control procedures and troubleshoot testing issues
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Drive and operate the mobile laboratory unit as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of STAT test results
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

✔ Active California LVN, MLT, or CLS License (Required)
✔ Valid Driver's License with a good driving record (Required)
✔ Familiarity with laboratory workflow and testing procedures (Required)
✔ High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
✔ Eligible to perform waived testing in California (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

✔ Phlebotomy experience
✔ Laboratory testing experience
✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
✔ Excellent communication skills
