Press Brake Operator

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: up to $34.00 /HR based on experience

Duties:

• Form metal parts according to customer‑supplied control plans, including work for Fortune 500 clients.

• Set up, operate, and adjust press brake equipment to meet production requirements.

• Properly form, tag, label, and prepare parts per shipping and routing instructions.

• Read and interpret blueprints, control plans, and work orders with high accuracy.

• Perform in‑process inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, tape measures, and other basic metrology tools.

• Maintain part quality, dimensional accuracy, and documentation throughout production.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate production issues or improvements.

• Work independently to complete assigned jobs while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of press brake operation experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Proficient in using inspection tools (calipers, height gauge, protractor, tape measure).

• Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC or manual press brakes.

• Solid understanding of metal forming, bend allowances, tolerances, and material behavior.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality parts.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a high‑performance team.

• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused.
