Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Endoscopy LPN to join a collaborative Endoscopy Center team in Thomasville, NC. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys hands-on patient care, values a predictable weekday schedule, and is interested in building skills in Endoscopy, PACU, Pre-Op, and procedural nursing.
This role offers an excellent work-life balance with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. You will work closely with physicians and a supportive clinical team to provide high-quality care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. Newer graduates are encouraged to apply if they have strong IV skills, confidence in patient care, and a genuine interest in procedural nursing.
The work environment is team-oriented, patient-focused, and supportive of professional growth. This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking to gain specialized experience in an outpatient procedural setting while contributing to a positive and compassionate patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery areas.
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during endoscopic procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, monitor recovery, and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Administer prescribed medications as directed by the physician and in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Start IVs using aseptic technique and maintain patient comfort and safety.
- Assist with room turnover, infection control practices, documentation, and preparation between procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- No weekends.
