Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting an impactful autism program from May 11 to June 18. This role focuses on providing exceptional communication and language support to students, making a difference during a crucial period as you cover a maternity leave.
You’ll work with a caseload of 30-40 students, collaborating alongside a dedicated team of educators and specialists. Your expertise will help foster communication growth for students and provide essential continuity within this dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
- Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and related communication challenges
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families
- State licensure in Massachusetts required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of program students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports
- Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support generalization of therapy goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
