Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a proven background in accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with ERP systems-NetSuite strongly preferred-and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Processing

• Prioritize invoices based on payment terms and available cash discounts
• Code expense invoices and ensure proper documentation and approvals
• Match invoices with receiving documentation and verify accuracy
• Enter invoices into the ERP system for timely processing
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Payments

• Process manual check requests and employee expense reimbursements
• Execute electronic vendor payments accurately and on time

Vendor Relations

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and resolve issues

Additional Duties

• Review and improve AP procedures to increase efficiency and workflow
• Collect W-9 forms and assist with year-end 1099 preparation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per company policy
• Prepare reports and provide information to management as needed
• Support and maintain internal financial controls
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience required
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• NetSuite experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of AP processes, procedures, and terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF editing tools
• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong customer service mindset and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
