Middle School (6th - 8th) ESN Special Education Teacher

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Spindle is partnering with a school district to hire an Education Specialist – Extensive Support Needs serving middle school students for next school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction for students with extensive support needs across 6th - 8th grade settings

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with measurable goals targeting functional, communication, and academic skills

• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure coordinated care

• Track student progress and use data to refine instructional strategies and IEP goal attainment

Qualifications:

• California Education Specialist Credential – Extensive Support Needs

• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and behavior support strategies preferred

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and team collaboration skills
