Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possess active School Psychologist certification (state-specific requirements may apply)
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist or in a school-based setting preferred
  • Expertise in conducting evaluations, psychological assessments, and interpreting results
  • Strong understanding of special education processes, IEP development, and eligibility requirements
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to professional ethics, diversity, and student advocacy

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to determine students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for services
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement effective interventions and supports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and guidance for individualized student plans
  • Advise on best practices for mental health, behavioral interventions, and crisis prevention within the school environment
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for all cases and evaluations
  • Split your expertise between two sites: one day per week at a district location and one day at a career technology center
