Pay: $20/hour
Location: York PA
Job Type: Full time
DetailsWe are seeking 1 Construction Technician to build and test construction material products for a shop based in York PA. This company and position requires attention to detail, ability to read and write English, as well as coming from a general construction. You will be required to build make-shift buildings in the shop and yard, to then test the product against natural disaster simulation such as fire, wind, and water. During testing you will then document the results to ensure if the product meets the standard to then be installed onto a job site.
*This is Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm, going to the same place everyday*
MUST HAVES- General construction (1+ year)
- Reading a tape measure and operating hand tools
- Someone from a roofing, siding, or carpentry is PREFERRED but not required.
- Reliable transportation
- Steel toe boots
