Step into a fulfilling role as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in the vibrant Metro Atlanta area, serving a diverse student population in a supportive school environment. This contract opportunity offers both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time positions, with caseloads typically centralized at a single school site for focused and personalized intervention.

As part of this dynamic educational team, you’ll have the chance to work in a variety of settings—ranging from early childhood to high school, including specialized units and charter schools. Assignments include well-established campuses such as Gideons Old 4th Ward, Drew Pre-K, Barack and Michelle Obama Elementary, and more. Bilingual SLPs are encouraged to apply and may enjoy flexible assignments across locations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Georgia Department of Education Certification
  • Current Georgia SLP License
  • Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, IEP development, and delivering both direct and consultative services
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly valued for select roles

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, including screening, evaluation, and therapy
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture

You'll benefit from a predictable schedule, the chance to build strong relationships with students and colleagues, and the opportunity to make a real difference throughout the school year. Whether you seek full-time consistency or a part-time schedule for more balance, interview opportunities are available now for the upcoming academic year.

If you are a dedicated SLP ready to be impactful in Atlanta’s school community, apply today and secure your assignment for the 2026-2027 school year!
