Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to students in an engaging K-12 environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for skilled SLPs with CCC credentials, ready to make a difference working onsite near Petersburg, VA. As an integral part of a dynamic educational team, you’ll support students across 1-3 school sites during the 2026-2027 school year (August 3, 2026 – May 21, 2027), contributing to lasting student growth and collaboration with dedicated professionals.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required)
  • Previous experience with K-12 caseloads strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse, dynamic student population across multiple sites
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion for supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students, addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Complete evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student progress
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and communications
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
