CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist | St. Charles County, MO | Earn $22 - $32/hr

This is for an experienced CNC Machinist who can set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment and is ready to bring that skillset to a precision manufacturing facility in St. Charles County — placed through Express Employment Professionals.

What You'll Be Doing

• Setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers to produce precision parts
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings to meet tight tolerances
• Writing, editing, and loading G-code or CNC programs as needed
• Selecting and installing tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each job
• Performing in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Identifying and correcting dimensional issues to maintain quality standards throughout production

We Want You If You

• Have 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a production or job shop environment
• Can set up your own machine from a blueprint — not just push the cycle start button
• Are comfortable with G-code and can make program edits at the control
• Know how to use precision measuring instruments and hold tight tolerances
• Have experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar CNC controls

This Is NOT For You If

• Your experience is limited to operating only — no setup, no programming
• Reading blueprints or GD&T is not something you can do independently
• You have never used precision measuring tools in a production setting
• Consistent attendance and meeting production deadlines are a challenge
