We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving and delivering materials or containers based on work orders or oral instructions. This position requires a proactive individual who is willing to perform a variety of tasks, including drilling materials, cleaning poles, and measuring materials with precision.
Responsibilities
- Work from work orders or oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved or delivered.
- Drill materials and clean poles as necessary, adapting to a flexible role.
- Load and unload materials by hand onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Measure materials with accuracy down to 1/16 for the burn table.
- Move products to chip bins and trash containers as needed.
- Material handling experience, particularly with large industrial materials.
- Proficiency in using overhead cranes.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Experience in heavy industrial material handling.
- Machine operation experience is preferred for future direct hire opportunities.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one to three months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain safe working habits.

Work Environment
Our work environment is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility. You will work Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. This role primarily utilizes overhead cranes rather than forklifts, and it involves manual labor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
