Community Engagement Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Compton, CA. This role is ideal for a bilingual English/Spanish professional who is passionate about community development, housing stability, neighborhood revitalization, and building meaningful relationships across Los Angeles County.

The Community Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in connecting residents, community members, governmental agencies, and internal teams through events, workshops, trainings, and needs assessments. This is a highly visible position that requires strong communication skills, confidence speaking in public settings, and the ability to coordinate multiple community-focused projects at once.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: Up to $65,000 per year.
- Schedule: Weekdays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Saturday schedule required: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Evening and weekend meetings and events are mandatory as needed.
