Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position is designed for an experienced Special Education Teacher eager to contribute to a positive learning environment over the full school year. You’ll work two days each week, averaging around 16 hours, serving an elementary caseload and making a vital difference for young learners.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience managing elementary caseloads in school settings
- Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and implementation
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning needs
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering academic, social, and emotional growth among students
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
- Deliver direct instruction and provide accommodations to ensure access to the general curriculum
- Collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to support student success
- Assess and track student performance, progress, and goals regularly
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and adaptive classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records and report on student growth and needs
