Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Coordinator to join our team in Barre, VT for the 2026–27 school year. Are you passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and empowering educators? This is a rewarding opportunity to serve as a case coordinator at the high school level, working within a dyad model alongside an in-person special educator to drive student success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Special Education Case Coordinator for high school students
  • Oversee and ensure compliance of IEPs and special education processes
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student outcomes
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings and evaluations
  • Monitor student progress and ensure accurate documentation
  • Support staff with guidance on best practices and compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Must meet Vermont state requirements for Special Education coordination
  • Experience working at the secondary (high school) level preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • A team-oriented professional committed to student success

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.93 to $46.93. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
