Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners with speech and language needs in a vibrant educational setting. This position focuses on a caseload of 35-40 students ranging from Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) through 1st grade. You’ll address a variety of needs including articulation, language, and pragmatic skills, providing essential services that make a meaningful difference during foundational school years.
With a start date of August 19, 2026, and a commitment through May 14, 2027, this role offers a steady schedule—37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Enjoy working in an inclusive environment open to both experienced clinicians and outstanding Clinical Fellows or strong SLPAs, as long as you hold an active Texas SLP license. While the ability to supervise one SLPA is needed, there is no requirement for AAC expertise or bilingual abilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP License (required)
- Experience or comfort working with ECSE through 1st grade students
- Confidence developing and delivering individualized therapy focused on articulation, language, and pragmatics
- Ability to supervise one SLPA if needed
- Eagerness to collaborate with school staff and families
- Welcoming of both new graduates and seasoned professionals, including travelers
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver both individual and group speech-language therapy sessions
- Evaluate student communication abilities and develop tailored intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
Enjoy a supportive assignment with weekly pay, highly competitive compensation ($45-$50 per hour), and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a matching 401(k) and flexible spending account options.
Move your speech-language pathology career forward in an engaging school setting. If you’re passionate about making a difference for young learners, apply today to secure your spot in this impactful role!
