Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time SLP-CCC, where you’ll provide dedicated support during a maternity leave from May 11th through June 18th. In this role, you will work closely with 30-40 students enrolled in an autism program, bringing your passion for communication and commitment for student growth to the classroom each day.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Massachusetts
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably within special education or autism programs
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, goal setting, and progress tracking
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine individual student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy for students with autism
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, specialists, and families for holistic student support
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development as needed
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in line with school and state requirements
