Job Description
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:
- 3x12 hour day shifts
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
- Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience
- Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment and perform cardiac catheterization lab procedures in accordance with physician instructions
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, ensuring all records are complete and compliant
- Practice strict radiation safety and infection control procedures for patient and staff protection
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to facilitate quality patient care during procedures
- Monitor patient status throughout diagnostic and interventional processes, responding promptly to changes
- Prepare and set up specialized equipment and supplies for each case, ensuring proper function and sterility
