Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour day shifts

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience
• Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment and perform cardiac catheterization lab procedures in accordance with physician instructions
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, ensuring all records are complete and compliant
• Practice strict radiation safety and infection control procedures for patient and staff protection
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to facilitate quality patient care during procedures
• Monitor patient status throughout diagnostic and interventional processes, responding promptly to changes
• Prepare and set up specialized equipment and supplies for each case, ensuring proper function and sterility
