Job Description
Job Position: Customer Service Representative
Location: Grapevine, TX 76051
Pay Rate: $20.00
Shifts:
Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm
To achieve complete customer satisfaction in Customs entry filing process through operational excellence, financial excellence, development, and excellent customer service. Commitment to accuracy on behalf of the customer; represent our company and the customer to US Government agencies.
Operational Excellence:
Actively utilize workboard to prioritize entry processing upstream
Proactively seek information and documents needed to key/submit all entries within KPI
Work with local service providers to ensure timely delivery of shipments after clearance
Understanding of, and timely and accurate utilization of system event codes in every file
Maintain good notes daily in the shipment log of each file, with dates and initials
Manage work volumes effectively. Specific file count expectations, if applicable, will be defined and communicated at an individual desk level.
Account portfolios should be expected to grow over time, as processes and knowledge are refined.
Customer Service:
Actively work to resolve issues with the customer through to mutually acceptable resolution
Provide full and timely disclosure of issues and escalate quickly where needed
Timely responses to emails both internal and external (at minimum, acknowledgement within 4 hours, or sooner if it is identified as time-sensitive or urgent issue)
Monitor all inboxes regularly if applicable
Group inboxes to be clean/actioned by end of business day
Participate in team-building outings or off-site meetings with Customer, as approved by Management
Demonstrate the 6 Key Elements of Customer Service (Freight, Relationship, Billing, Communication, Information, Our People)
Support customers throughout the department, step in to support other teams as able

Effectively communicate clearly and concisely
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
Proactive, strong organizational skills
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively
Education and Experience:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
Relevant industry or logistics experience preferred
High School diploma required
