This correctional facility provides outpatient primary care services to adult male patients in a maximum security environment. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery and maintains standard clinical procedures to ensure continuity of care. Clinicians are expected to deliver professional and accurate care within the framework of correctional healthcare.

Eddyville, Kentucky, offers access to outdoor recreational activities including boating, fishing, and hiking around Lake Barkley and Barkley Dam, as well as golfing opportunities in the area. Mineral Mound State Park is located approximately 1.4 miles from the area center and provides additional recreational options. The region also features a historic 1880s settlement and resort-based activities at Holiday Hills Resort.

The clinician will provide outpatient primary care services to adult male patients in a maximum security correctional facility setting during day shift hours. Clinical responsibilities include delivering primary care services within the corrections environment and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Clinicians are expected to manage approximately 1525 patients per day. Prescriptive authority is required for this position.
