Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a fulfilling school-based contract as a School Psychologist supporting students across K-12 settings for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role is primarily located in Emporia, KS, with minimal travel required to nearby districts—all within a convenient 20-minute radius. You’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact in a supportive educational environment dedicated to student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultative practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel within 20 minutes to assigned schools as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being
- Provide direct and indirect counseling or intervention services
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations for behavioral supports
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and timely reporting
