Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an engaging, impactful school-based contract opportunity serving K-12 students in and around the Emporia, KS area. This onsite position provides the chance to work closely with diverse student populations, supporting their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development across multiple districts within a short commute. As a valued school psychologist, you will collaborate with educational professionals, families, and students, delivering critical services and interventions during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and active Kansas School Psychologist license
  • Previous experience working within K-12 settings, with a strong understanding of the needs of students across multiple grade levels
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, interpreting data, and making recommendations for IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Flexible and comfortable with travel to schools within a 20-minute radius of Emporia
  • Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) activities
  • Collaborate with educators and other school specialists to develop intervention strategies
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, crafting goals and monitoring student progress
  • Provide counseling and consultation services as needed
  • Support crisis response and intervention efforts within assigned schools
