CT Technologist – Minimum Requirements

Specialty: CT Technologist

Schedule: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Required Certifications & Licenses
ARRT (R)
ARRT (CT)
BLS Certification
Active California Radiologic Technologist License (CA RAD License)
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent CT Tech experience
Acute Care/Hospital experience required
Experience performing both CT and General Radiology (Plain Films/X-Ray)
Ability to work independently on overnight shifts
Required Skills
CT imaging of head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities
Contrast and non-contrast studies
Trauma and Emergency Department imaging
General Radiography/Plain Film exams
Patient positioning and radiation safety
Image quality assessment and post-processing
Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
Trauma and stroke imaging experience
Familiarity with PACS and hospital EMR systems
Ability to multitask between CT and X-Ray responsibilities
