OB/GYN Faculty at Academic Health Center in Southwest Ohio

Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent medical school, is on the lookout for a full-time faculty physician who is dedicated to educating future healthcare professionals. This role within the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department offers the chance to engage with colleagues who are actively involved in initiatives aimed at improving access to healthcare at local, regional, and national levels.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an academically inclined faculty member to join our core team in the OB/GYN Department. Responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in didactic instruction, leading journal clubs, conducting clinical case discussions, and fulfilling other educational roles for residents and medical students, as directed by the department and academic leadership.
• Supporting the clinical, research, and educational missions of the Department.
• Participating in the education and supervision of medical students and residents across various environments, including inpatient care, Labor & Delivery, operating rooms, and outpatient clinics, along with direct patient care responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Before the appointment date, successful applicants must possess:

• An MD, DO, or MBBS degree;
• Completion of a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology;
• Board Certification in OB/GYN (or be Board-Eligible);
• An unrestricted medical license in Ohio;
• A federally issued DEA license.

** Candidates may be considered for onboarding as Board-Eligible, with a firm expectation to achieve Board Certification at the earliest opportunity.
