Job Description
Advanced Radiation Centers of Spokane (ARC) is seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist to join our growing team and lead our new, currently under-construction radiation oncology facility. The Spokane site will feature a state-of-the-art Ethos adaptive radiotherapy linear accelerator and will be located within a 15,000-square-foot multi-use facility that also includes interventional radiology and PET/CT imaging.
ARC is affiliated with Spokane Urology, both now part of The Specialty Alliance. While the practice has a meaningful focus on prostate and other genitourinary malignancies, the center is designed to deliver the highest level of radiation oncology care across all disease sites, including benign disease therapies.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and stage patients requiring radiation therapy in collaboration with the multidisciplinary oncology team.
Develop and supervise individualized treatment plans using IGRT, SGRT, IMRT, SBRT, theragnostics, and other advanced modalities in close partnership with physicists and dosimetrists.
Oversee daily treatment delivery, monitor patient response, and adjust plans as clinically indicated.
Provide thorough education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, potential side effects, and follow-up care.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences with medical oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards in radiation oncology.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Contribute to quality improvement, clinical research, and innovation initiatives within the group practice as interested.
MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology, preferably with more than 4 years of clinical experience.
Eligible for Washington medical licensure.
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in SRS/SBRT and other advanced technologies.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, high-volume outpatient environment.
