Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding school-based contract role serving PreK and Kindergarten students in a dynamic educational environment near Woodland, CA. This position focuses on supporting young learners through direct speech-language therapy, impacting their foundational communication and learning skills. The assignment runs from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, providing a meaningful and stable opportunity to make a difference throughout the entire academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required; out-of-state licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply if willing to pursue California licensure.
  • Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with early childhood or kindergarten caseloads.
  • Strong commitment to collaborative practice within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 25-35 PreK and Kindergarten students.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized goals, and document progress for each assigned student.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student development and maximize educational outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear, actionable input regarding student progress and strategies for success.
  • Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines.
