Ready to take your leadership skills on the road? We’re seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced ED and Fast Track setting. This is a unique opportunity to step into a critical leadership role, drive patient outcomes, and support a dedicated clinical team in a dynamic environment.

🚑 Assignment OverviewAs the ED Nurse Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, coordinate patient care delivery, and provide strong leadership to nursing staff—ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered emergency services.💡 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Team: Supervise, schedule, and coach staff while fostering a positive, high-performing culture
  • Operational Oversight: Manage ED and Fast Track flow, staffing, and performance metrics
  • Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with clinical standards and improve patient outcomes
  • Strategic Planning: Monitor budgets, forecast staffing/resource needs, and drive efficiency
  • Collaboration: Partner with providers and leadership to optimize care delivery
  • Performance Management: Train, evaluate, and support staff development
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years as an RN with Emergency Department experience
    • 3+ years in a nursing leadership role
  • Certifications:
    • Active RN license (state-specific or compact as applicable)
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Preferred: Flight, paramedic, or grant/program experience
