Travel Certified Surgical Technologist $2320 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 hours/week
Job Details:
Location: Watertown, NY
Start Date: June 29, 2026 Shift: 8-hrs day shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Requirements:
✔️Must be NBSTSA or NCCT certified only
✔️ Minimum travel experience required
✔️Ortho surgical experience required
✔️ Strong scrub experience required
✔️DaVinci robotic surgery experience required
✔️ BLS certification required
✔️ Must be comfortable working fully in an OR environment
Responsibilities
✔️ Function under direct supervision of RN in the OR
✔️ Assist in preparing surgical patients and maintaining sterile field
✔️Perform scrub tech duties including instrument handling and surgical assistance
✔️ Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and functioning of OR equipment
✔️Support surgeons during procedures with precision and efficiency
✔️ May be asked to precept new staff
✔️ Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned
Additional Requirements
• Approved pharmacology course OR prior medication experience with successful medication exam
• Knowledge of sterilization, disinfection, and OR instrumentation required
• Must follow strict hospital policies (no artificial nails or eyelashes allowed)
• Strong desire to work in an operating room environment required
