ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Resident Care Services (DRCS) at Rancho Santa Fe, you will lead the Nursing and Resident Care teams within our premier Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This Director of Nursing leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical assessments, resident wellness, medication management, care planning, regulatory compliance, and the daily operations of nursing and caregiving services. Working closely with residents, families, physicians, and community leadership, you will help ensure exceptional senior care and a high-quality resident experience.

Supported by experienced Regional and Corporate leadership teams, you will create a culture of collaboration, clinical excellence, hospitality, and compassionate care. The ideal candidate brings nursing leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior living and is passionate about developing teams, supporting residents, and delivering outstanding care services.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for overall compliance of clinical services & programs including accuracy of medication administration

  • Works collaboratively and facilitates communication with physician offices, ancillary services, responsible parties and internal care teams to deliver quality resident care

  • Works efficiently to complete timely resident assessments and to develop and initiate the care and service plan

  • Supports and assists in day-to-day care and clinical needs as needed

  • Conducts interviewing and hiring, evaluates employee performance, provides coaching and employee training, and delegates assignments for all direct reports

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active LVN, LPN or RN license required - RN preferred

  • Minimum two years nursing managerial experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Assisted Living (AL) , Memory Care (ALZ) or Senior Living community

  • Successful demonstration of exceptional organizational, communication, & customer service skills

  • Ability to work flexible schedules in 24 hour operation including weekends as needed

  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
