Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services in a vibrant school community. This onsite position focuses on supporting PreK and Kindergarten students, working closely with young learners to help them develop the foundational communication skills that set them up for long-term success. From individualized assessments to dynamic intervention, you’ll be a key partner for students, staff, and families, with the flexibility to bring your expertise to a collaborative and nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active SLP license; out-of-state clinicians will be considered if willing to obtain California licensure
  • Prior experience working with early childhood or school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering evidence-based therapy
  • Effective communication abilities and a supportive, collaborative professional approach
  • Commitment to inclusivity and a passion for fostering each student’s potential

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy for PreK and Kindergarten students (approximately 25–35 students)
  • Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and document findings in accordance with school and federal guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs in collaboration with the special education team and families
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and caregivers about strategies for supporting communication in the classroom and at home
  • Maintain thorough and timely records for all services and progress monitoring
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture

This contract spans from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
