Job Description

Situated in Monterey, CA, a vibrant 250-bed medical facility is looking to recruit a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN to become part of their dedicated team. You will work alongside three other OBGYNs, one Gynecologic Surgeon, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and a complete OB hospitalist team. This group is integrated within a larger multi-specialty organization comprising 100 physicians, all practicing in stunning facilities along the California coastline.

Compensation and Benefits:
Enjoy an attractive compensation package that includes a guaranteed base salary, assistance with housing and student loans, as well as a comprehensive benefits plan.

The Role:
  • Work approximately 1.5 to 2 days in surgery and 2 to 2.5 days in the clinic each week.
  • Experience minimal on-call responsibilities, with OB hospitalist support—each physician limits their deliveries to 15 per month.
  • Participate in a full Da Vinci robotic surgery program.
  • Receive a base salary of $489,000, with opportunities for additional earnings through productivity bonuses.
  • Access $150,000 in support for student loans and housing to help manage the higher living costs along the coast.
  • Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, life insurance, vacation time, continuing medical education (CME), long-term disability coverage, and a 401k plan with a 4% match.
  • Benefit from collaboration with specialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Uro-Gynecology.
The Community:
  • The practice is located just 2 hours south of San Francisco, right by the Pacific Ocean.
  • Monterey is rich in history and offers 20 world-class golf courses, the renowned aquarium, a diverse array of shops and galleries, and a stunning selection of parks and natural spaces, making it an exceptional place to live and raise a family.
  • Enjoy a fantastic Mediterranean climate, with average high temperatures ranging from 58 to 69 degrees throughout the year.
  • Experience a more relaxed lifestyle, avoiding the heavy traffic and high living costs of California—housing expenses are approximately 65% lower than in San Francisco, according to Sperling's.
