Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position begins August 6th, 2026, and runs through May 25th, 2027, aligning perfectly with the academic calendar. You'll be instrumental in helping students develop communication skills essential for their academic and personal success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, active Louisiana SLP license
  • Louisiana teaching certificate required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Relevant school-based experience preferred
  • Commitment to working exclusively onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students, tailored to individual needs
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of skills across settings
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation compliant with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
