• Shift schedule? 5x 8s -1200-2100 M-F or 1100-2000 M-F- needs to be flexible with either shift
• What type of equipment does your MT need to have experience with? Vitek, Vitros 5600, Satellite, and manual ortho gel for blood bank. Would be FANTASTIC if they also knew CERNER (EHR)
• Do you have your MT do phlebotomy? YES - need BLS
• What specific areas does your clinician need to come in with? Well-rounded generalist – micro, blood bank, chem, heme, microscopy, etc.
No call
Must have phlebotomy experience and work the entire bench. Micro isn’t as important but needs to know how to plate specimens and do gram stains.
