Job Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery cases, including routine and complicated deliveries such as C-sections and VBACs
• Handle gynecological surgical procedures including laparoscopic diagnostics
• Provide emergency gynecology care for unassigned patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and CNMs

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrician
• Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required
• Self-query NPDB report required within 30 days of application

Working Hours

• Primary hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call support: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for midwife coverage

Skills

• Proficiency in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies
• Skilled in a variety of obstetrics procedures including routine delivery and surgical interventions
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
