Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting early childhood education as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving PreK and Kindergarten students. This onsite position near Woodland, CA runs from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a chance to work with approximately 25-35 young learners in a dynamic school setting.
Your expertise and clinical knowledge will contribute to students’ communication development, collaborating with educators and families to maximize each child’s success. Out-of-state candidates are encouraged to apply, as support is available for licensure in California.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for California licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working with children in PreK or Kindergarten educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Passion for supporting early learners in their growth and achievement
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for incoming PreK and Kindergarten students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to deliver holistic student care
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP team meetings
- Provide direct, onsite services aligned with best practices and compliance requirements
- Foster an engaging, positive environment tailored to young students’ developmental needs
