Schedule\nThis position offers a day shift schedule, working 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation.
\n\nJob Description\nThe Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders, in compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role includes performing various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan and assessing patient progress to adjust treatments accordingly.
\n\nResponsibilities\n- \n
- Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. \n
- Administers treatment interventions, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. \n
- Assesses patient progress and communicates effectively with supervising Physical Therapist. \n
- Documents all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records per company policy. \n
- Participates in required meetings and facility trainings, supporting student supervision under the guidance of the Physical Therapist. \n
- \n
- 1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required. \n
- Experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation is required. \n
- Must have an active Physical Therapist Assistant license at the time of submission. \n
- New graduates are considered if they have completed a Level II internship. \n
