Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing outpatient practice in Sarasota, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in a collaborative, physician-led environment with a strong focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient wellness.

The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while building long-term relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care to adult patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and health assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & BenefitsCompensation

• Annual Salary: $240,000 – $350,000, based on experience, qualifications, and productivity.
