Location: Gray, GA 31032
Job type: FULL-TIME/PERMANENT
Shift: Day 5x9-Hour (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $68/hr w2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a community pharmacy setting. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, ensuring medication safety, collaborating with healthcare providers, and supporting overall patient wellness. This position offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule with competitive compensation and benefits.
Duties:
- Accurately dispense prescriptions in compliance with pharmacy regulations and physician orders.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
- Maintain accurate prescription records and patient profiles.
- Monitor medication safety and support quality assurance initiatives.
- Conduct health screenings and administer immunizations as applicable.
- Provide medication education to patients and pharmacy staff.
- Participate in community health and wellness programs.
- Stay current with pharmaceutical advancements and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Pharmacist license in GA state.
- Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- 1+ years of pharmacist experience in a retail or clinical setting
- Strong patient counseling and communication skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
