\nHighlights
\nCommunity Health Network seeks a psychologist (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) or licensed therapist (MSW) for a core residency faculty role within our ACGME-accredited community-based psychiatry residency program. Our program is designed to provide exceptional physician training using a robust array of mental health service experiences combined with a comprehensive didactic curriculum. The faculty are committed to prepare residents to succeed at the forefront of the evolving role of psychiatry in the delivery of healthcare. Ideal candidates will have previous faculty/teaching experience.
\nAbout this position:
\nPart-time, 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)

\nAbout the Community Psychiatry Residency:
\nACGME accreditation received in 2015
\nResidency slot expansion from 4 to 6 residents per cohort began in 2023-2024 academic year
\nAffiliated with Indianas largest behavioral health provider, offering the full continuum of services and a team-based approach to patient care

\nAbout Community Health Network Academic Affairs:
\nIn 2012, the network became an independent sponsor of graduate medical education under the ACGME. Physicians who are core faculty will work with the residency program as their primary activity, with delivery of clinical care done primarily with residents and students, not independently. Core faculty work to support program leadership in the development, implementation and assessment of the program curriculum, and they work as a team for the education, training and support of the residents. The facilities of the network and patient population are ideal for a rich educational experience for psychiatry residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
\nQualifications:
\n\n
Master's or higher degree in Social Work or Psychology, or related behavioral health field required
\nLicensed as a LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or HSSP in the state of Indiana is required
\nClinical teaching and patient care experience
\nBackground in medical education and quality improvement
\nExperience presenting scholarly work or research
\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to manage group processes and mentor diverse learners
\nCommitment to inclusive, team-based care and education

Additional Qualifications:
\nExperience providing clinical supervision to psychology interns, practicum students, MSW students, or other learners preferred
\nStrong knowledge of ethical guidelines and professional standards in psychology/behavioral health
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support learners' professional development
\nCompassion, empathy, and a commitment to promoting mental health and well-being
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
