**Exciting Opportunity for Cardiovascular Technologist**\n\n**Job Description:**\n\n- Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment where you will assist physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.\n- Play a key role in performing temporary and permanent pacemaker placements as well as working with circulatory support devices such as IABP and Impella.\n- Prepare and organize essential equipment and sterile trays for each unique procedure.\n- Assist the procedure room team in preparing and monitoring patients effectively.\n- Calibrate and test transducers to ensure accurate pressure readings.\n- Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.\n- Operate power injectors and manage sterile support equipment confidently.\n- Maneuver table controls as requested to enhance procedural efficiency.\n- Calibrate hemodynamic monitoring equipment and analyze key hemodynamic data.\n- Calculate and record cardiac output and oxygenation readings accurately.\n- Utilize and maintain digital cine technologies, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of patient images and hemodynamic records.\n- Assist with vascular access, sheath removal, and hemostatic closure devices while maintaining hemostasis.\n- Manage inventory control and maintain necessary levels of equipment for procedures.\n- Follow all Clinical Cardiovascular Information Systems (CVIS) practice requirements.\n- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment used.\n- Participate in catheterization lab on-call responsibilities as per organizational policies.\n- Apply radial access banding effectively while maintaining hemostasis.\n- Recognize and interpret cardiac arrhythmias efficiently.\n- Assist with maintenance, calibration, and routine evaluation of diagnostic and technical equipment.\n\n**Schedule:**\n\n- Shifts are from 11AM - 7:30PM or 9AM - 7:30PM.\n- Work options include 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts.\n- Flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed.\n- ON CALL REQUIRED.\n\n**Experience:**\n\n- Prior experience in Cath lab/Electrophysiology is required.\n\n**Skills:**\n\n- Strong knowledge of electrophysiology, intra-procedure mapping, ablation, and implant devices.\n- Proficiency in required sterile scrub techniques.\n- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.\n\n**Education:**\n\n- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program, Radiologic Technologist program, or an Associate’s degree in Applied Science (AAS).\n\n**Certifications & Licensure:**\n\n- AHA BLS certification required.\n- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 3 months of employment.\n- RCIS exam must be successfully passed within 1 year of hire or Radiologic Technologist License required.\n\n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
