Serves as clinical resource to patients and team members and provides leadership/support in day-to-day clinical operations. Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for professional nursing care of patients within an assigned department.

Plans and organizes training for unit staff members and participates in guidance and educational programs.

Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited nursing school

Minimum Experience: 2 years of clinical experience

Required Certification: BLS / ACLS / PALS ** TNCC/ATCN

Required Licensure: Current Texas RN license
