(3) 12 hour shifts, 7p-7a. Every other weekend. May consider 48 hours. Would also consider postpartum nurse instead of L&D.The Childbirth Nurse provides family-centered care for patients with antepartum medical conditions, patients in labor, patients giving birth (vaginal and Cesarean-section) and their newborns, postpartum patients and patients with gynecological conditions. The nurse interacts with those of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level; s/he must be able to effectively interact appropriately to individual's intellectual level and physical ability. Requirements: • BLS required • ACLS required • NRP required • Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN)
