Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services, OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgery.
\n
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure.
\n
• Manage surgical specimens and ensure proper labeling.
\n
• Assist in the preparation and disposal of surgical equipment and supplies.
\n
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control policies.
\n
• Participate in the surgical team’s count protocols to ensure patient safety.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
\n
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
\n
• Proficiency with Epic or similar charting systems.
\n
• Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of universal protocols and safety standards.
\n
